Fascinatingly Bizzare China iPhone 4 Launch

Fascinatingly Bizzare
China iPhone 4 Launch

This really goes to show that we are living in a global village. It is so neat to see Apple stores located in mainland China, that are identical to the one down the street in the San Francisco, Marina. Somehow China no longer seems like it is located on Mars, but it's located just a state away;-)))

This video shows a modern China that is so antithetical to the whole Maoist China. I always new Communism wouldn't last in China. After all, the Chinese invented capitalism.

Apple Computing Horsepower and Form-Factor
Progress over 10 Years

This incredible graphic by Brett Jordan illustrates how much computing technology have advanced over the last 10 years. It is amazing that a computer that fits in your pocket can completely blow-away an Apple computer form just a decade ago!!!

Totally Rad BMX iPad Bike-Mount ...

Totally Rad BMX iPad Bike-Mount

This is a totally radical setup and I get it. There is nothing better than jamming on a mountain bike with some great music cranking. The challenge is if you wear a headset, you can't hear anything else. If you have the music blaring from your bike, you will get a lot of unwanted attention, but if will be a fun ride. Maybe I should make a MagicStand bike adaptor ;-)

Although you can't tell from the photo, I assume this is a 3G iPad which would make a lot of sense if you spent much time on your bike...

Sonos WD 100 Wireless Ipod/iPhone Dock...

Sonos WD 100 Wireless Ipod/iPhone Dock

This will allow you to wirelessly send music from an iPod or iPhone to your Sonos system and it should cost about $120. Very interesting Clink!!! I hope they also make it in black. I am so over the goofy white that don't match anything.

The Sonos Press Release Reads:

Samsung 7 inch Galaxy Tablet Demo: Running Android Tablet OS

Running Android Tablet OS

Wow!!!! This thing seems like a complete iPad knock-off, but I imagine they really could not have done it any other way. It has crossed my mind to make a smaller MagicStand to accommodate other tablet form factors like this or the Kindle. Hmmmmm!?!?

Creston iPanel Controller for iPad

Creston iPanel Controller for iPad
Home Automation Controller

O.k. This is pretty interesting. I think it would bee cooler if it was on a BulletTrain MagicStand for the iPad, and I wonder how well it works? As Larry David says "Pretty Good!!! Pretty Good!!!" The only thing that is not so great is the price of $500!!!

It is funny because several times when I was working on designing the MagicStand, I thought, that when it was sitting on the coffee table or couch, it looked like a Creston Controller panel thingy, and then all of a sudden, here it is!!! Neato...

BMW Seriously Get's It: iPad Mounting Kit for Back Seats

BMW Seriously "Get's It"
iPad Mounting Kit for Back Seats

BMW just showed-off this new iPad accessory for the rear seat of their cars. They are essentially replacing the in-seat DVD player with the iPad, and I think this is a great idea. This is what the old hotness looked like:

Behold The new iPad Hotness

Just for the record, we have been working on a car-kit for the BulletTrain MagicStand, but I must say the BMW version looks like Ultimate Driving Machine iPad Stand ;-)

Also, I have noticed recently, with the all-new BMW 5 series and 7 series, they are getting awfully impressive!!!

Etch A Sketch iPad Case...

Etch A Sketch iPad Case

O.K., this is a trip!!! It is kind of cool in a weird, déjà vu kind of way, but I don't think I would want to walk into a serious meeting and whip this thing out!?!

Thomas Jefferson: Bedroom Home Office-The First iPad MagicStand

Thomas Jefferson
Bedroom Home-Office
The First iPad MagicStand

Thomas Jefferson was not only a founding father of the United States, but he was also elected the third President of the United States and he was the ultimate renaissance man.

The next two photos are of his bedroom home-office at Monticello.

On the left side of his desk, you see his spinning double-decker book reader. In other words, he would have 6 books loaded up at a time so he could read them all. This was the precursor to iBooks for the iPad!!!

Ironically, the thing on the desk that looks like a battle-ship board without a privacy panel is a the first copy machine. Seriously!!! He would write with his quill pen that he would dip in ink, and as he moved it, it would draw another copy on the opposite side on a piece of paper with another quill pen. Also notice the burned candle for reading and righting at night.

Imaging if he had an iPad!!!! And talk about economy-of-motion, the commute from his bed to his office was about 5 steps. That's almost as short as Hugh Hefner!!!
