BulletTrain SAFE WALLET ULTRA
Magsafe Prototype #1
Below are photos of the first 3D printed prototypes of the SAFE WALLET ULTRA Production Prototype model, and it kind of throws me off to see it with the Salt and Pepper colors, but the geometry is AMAZING, and so far it's looking pretty good for a first 3D printed prototype. The next step is to test these prototypes, then probably make a much more advanced prototype, before we start making the tooling, and go into production. I've patiently waited a decade and a half for this singularity to occur, and I could not be more excited!!!!
Just to be clear, all the photos of the black BulletTrain SAFE Wallet prototype on the BulletBlog use our BulletTrain SAFE Wallet MINI with a MagSafe backplate. The prototype in this story is of the actual BulletTrain SAFE Wallet ULTRA, and is NOT in any way based upon our MINI. The two models are remarkably similar, but the key differences are:
-ULTRA will be made out of TPU (MINI is made from Polycarbonate).
-ULTRA has a much deeper ID Tray (MINI has a Cash Stash, that is much shallower.
-ULTRA holds 6 plastic cards internally. 1 card in the ID tray area, and 5 in the hollow core door, along with a cash bill. (MINI only holds 5 cards in hollow core wallet door, and up to 2 cash bills in Cash Stash Area.
